  • I practice in Florida and New York. In Florida, I practice as a Board- Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and in New York, I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). In addition, I am a certified Parent Coach.

  • Both.

    I am in person at my art studio office in Sarasota, Florida.

    I practice online and find telehealth works best for teens and adults. For children, I recommend in-person sessions or in-person sessions initially to assess if telehealth will be beneficial.

  • NY residents please check with your insurance for reimbursement. As an out-of-network provider, a superbill will be provided upon request.

    FL residents, art therapy is not covered by mainstream insurance, nor will insurance companies reimburse for sessions. However, your HSA account may reimburse for art therapy, and the The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) reimburses for art therapy and Creativity Queen, LLC is a provider.

  • Everyone is different.

    However, weekly therapy is recommended to create a therapeutic bond, release old patterns, and develop therapeutic skills. After 6 weekly sessions we can assess progress. Typically you’ll see a shift within this timeframe, if progress isn’t being made we will discuss other options. Research suggests within 12-16 sessions significant improvements can be seen. After 12-16 sessions every other week or once a month sessions can be assessed. Often 20-30 sessions over six months provides sustainable changes. Individuals with co-occuring conditions may require longer support.
